"Building skills for the future"

Welcome to Wistaston Westfield Infant School.

Wistaston Westfield Infant School has been providing education for the children of Wistaston for over 28 years. Over the years we have established a reputation for providing a good education in the basic skills of literacy and numeracy.

We also place great emphasis on appropriate behaviour and social skills which are taught consistently throughout the school.

The most important part of our work is to provide children with a high quality, all round education, which will prepare them well for the Junior and Secondary Schools and for the challenges of adult life in to-day’s society.

The partnership between home and school must be based on knowledge and understanding and I hope the Prospectus which explains our aims and work, will contribute to your knowledge and understanding and help us build on that partnership.

The Prospectus cannot contain all the information that parents may require, nor can it convey adequately the positive learning atmosphere that we try to encourage.

If you would like to visit us, perhaps with a view to enrolling your child, you will be most welcome. Please telephone for an appointment.

Yours sincerely

Mrs. Edwards
